Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

notification of a judgement

Does a lawyer have to let you know that he is taking you to court to garnish your wages or take your income tax? If he does, and he didn't, what can I do next?

Re: notification of a judgement

Once you are served with a complaint, you need no further notices. The court will send you a judgment before any wages can be garnished, etc. Contact an attorney and/or the court for assistance.
