Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
I receive a call from an attorney (sounded foreign) she stated that she represnt Easy Cash Advance and they been trying to settle debt with me. I ask her how they were contacting me. She stated by e-mail. She proceeded to inform me that I was being sue and that I need to contact an attorney. She was calling to get the attorney information. She stated I was being sue for 1,400. She can stop court proceeding if I send them a payment of $325.18. However, before I send the payment she needed for me to send a letter to them with a copy of my drivers license and a letter. The letter must be worded as exactly as they tell you. In others they tell how to write the letter. She need this letter so she can stop the legal proceeding against me. I do not understand why need my license and this letter. I told I will get back with her.
Does this sound right

Did you have an unpaid loan from Easy Cash Advance? Even if so, this doesn't sound right. Google the facts and see. I think I recall this as a scam of some sorts. Did you actually get served with a lawsuit? I doubt it and therefore, not legit. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz
