Is there a way I can block my socical security number? My husband has a gambling problem and i found he is getting credit cards under my number. what can i do about this?

My suggestion is you contact the credit bureaus and tell them of your worries and they will note it perhaps.

Contact the main 3 credit reporting agencies and/or sign up for a security program/credit monitoring program that alerts you everytime someone applies for something in your name or attempts to use your information. They are relatively cheap (like $10 a month or so) and may save you some trouble down the road. You should also cancel any credit cards that you are not using, or that you did not open.
