Does spouse have to pay back deceased spouse credit card debt?

Does the surviving spouse have to pay the deceased spouse's credit card debt if the card was only in the deceased name (Michigan)?

No, the spouse does not have to pay this debt. However, the decedent's estate is liable for the debt under certain circumstances.
