Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan
I am being sued for non-payment of a credit card.I received a certified letter in the mail on 4/10/10.It said I have 21 days to file a written answer with the court.What does that mean?

It means you are being sued. You actually have 28 days from the service because it was by mail. If you do not answer the Complaint within this time, the Plaintiff will take a Default against you.
