If i could get in detail exactly how to answer a summons and complaint.

You need to comply with the Michigan Court Rules. Look up MCR 2.111. Generally speaking, you need to respond to each enumerated allegation in the complaint with a specific admission or denial or state why you cannot admit or deny and you must set forth each and every affirmative defense you may have. Also, if you have a counter-claim, you must file it with your answer. You must also file your answer timely.
