Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Summons

I was 16 when I had my baby and never paid a doctor bill of 147.00 and now 4 years later I'am Being sued for the bill, interest,court costs and attorney fees. Since my guardian never signed any documents at the time am I the only person held responsible or should my legal guardian at that time be held responsible for the bill?

A minor has the right to avoid any contract entered by the minor. As such, a minor may not be legally required to pay in a contract such as yours.
