In short, 7411 covers first-time drug michigan offenders, such as a possession or use of marijuana... Sec 7411 of the Public Health code provides for a plea without conviction for a first offense on drug charges. If the Judge accepts him under 7411 and he completes a period of probation, the case is dismissed at the end of probation without a conviction on his public record. But that doesn't mean that certain government agencies won't see it.

7411 is a special statute that allows first time drug offenders (regardless of age) to take a GUILTY plea from a defendant and have the case later dismissed if the defendant successfully completes probation, pays fines and costs and fulfills the other requirements of the judge. If not, the plea is accepted in full and entered as a conviction. A private record is kept of the plea so a defendant cannot use this special section of the code again. http://www.wolverinelaw.com
