180 day rule
Does the 180 day rule apply if a person got out of jail but gets remanded back does that person # of days start from the day he was first put in or from the day they were remanded.

Re: 180 day rule
The 180 day rule is available to prisoners who have a pending charge providing the new charge is not required to be servered consecutively. There's a requirement that the prosecutor knows of the defendant's incarceration and has failed to have a court date scheduled. Would need to look at the particular facts of your case to render a legal opinion.
