Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
my 7 year old daughter and neighbor girl got into a pushing match yesterday today the father came out to the bus stop and pushed my daughter down we called the cops and they said there was nothing they could do cause she wasnt hurt is there anything else we can do

What you described is misdemeanor assault. I would request the police to forward the information to the prosecutor's office to request a warrant. Follow up with the prosecutor's office. If not, your remedy is to sue the father in civil court or small claims court.
