Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I am a 15 year old kid. I am a sophomore in high school and I have been falsely accused of stealing a laptop. My backpack has been searched, and I have offered a search of my home. I would like to know how I can clear my name, what can happen to me, and could I sue for false accusation.

Have you retained a lawyer? You need to do so immediately, especially if they do pursue charges. Do not offer a search of your home - they have no right to that - even if you are innocent. There must be a strong basis for the school officials and/or police to believe you were involved (you didn't say who has accused you or searched your backpack - that makes a difference). Since you are a minor, and cannot retain a lawyer yourself, you need to discuss this with your parents.
