A bunch of different things. The best advice is to speak to no one and wait to see what happens. If he gets charged, get an attorney hired immediately. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
The primary usual charge is receiving and concealing stolen property. If your son was involved in the actual theft, however, there are a variety of charges that may be brought. Currently, the most frequently charged crime for his age group is B&E auto, a five year felony.
He can be charged with one or more offenses of larceny (theft)- from a misdemeanor to a serious felony charge. Regardless, it would be a good idea if you hired an attorney now. Do not talk to police detectives or police officers without an attorney present. Feel free to contact attorney Daniel Hajji to discuss your options.
