What does MDOB mean as it pertains to
an offense in a criminal case?

The first answer is wrong. MDOB = Malicious Destruction of a Building. So, if a window, door, wall or other fixture to a building is intentionally and maliciously damaged, MDOB would be charged.
MDOP = Malicious Destruction of Personal Property. So, if a TV in a house is intentionally and maliciously damaged, MDOP would be charged.
All MDO_ crimes have charge levels that go along with the valuae of the damage. "Under $200" and "$200-$999" are misdemeanors. "$1,000-$19,999" and $20,000 or more" are felonies.
