Assault is an unwanted touching. Weapons just make it more severe a charge. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz

Anytime you touch or threaten to strike a police officer without permission, it's an assault unless your his mother.
Does it include the use of a weapon? If you have a weapon in your hand during the assault you can either undergo an autopsy or be charged with a felony.
