Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
i need some advice i wrote a bad check for over 1200.00 and i just got a call from the polica saying that i have a warrant and that i have to go turn myself in i never have been in trouble before what is to be expected i am very scared i have 2 kids a full tim job and a house payment each month i dont want to go to jail

If you have the means or connections to make good on the check, I would do so immediately and then turn myself in. You'll be released that day on personal bond.
An attorney would be helpful, but you won't be going to jail.
Do not make any statements to the police as it may be used against you. It is always best to hire a good criminal defense attorney to assist you in this serious charge. Regardless, do not simply just ignore the warrant because that may lead to more problems. You and your attorney should make arrangements to recall/answer the warrant/complaint thus minimizing your exposure to having a high bond. Personal bond is not a guarantee and jail is possible but unlikely.
