Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

aiding? Obstruction of justice

A friend of mine has a son with an outstanding warrant (for probation violation, due to another drinking related incident).Living with her . His girlfriend and his children are living with her also. Are they going to be in alot of trouble for not turning him in? I am pretty sure that they are afraid to. He has quite a temper from what i hear. In the past he has been physically violent. He is an alcoholic. He is a habitual criminal(mostly drinking related)I am not only afraid for her getting into legal trouble but also for her safty.Thats why I dont turn him in is I am a close friend AND AM Afraid if he finds out he will come after me or my family.

Re: aiding? Obstruction of justice
