Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
If you are in an airport and a police officer asks for your drivers license and you refuse to give to give it to him can he arrest you and take you into custody?

The answer is a definite maybe. You are not obligated to talk to a police officer. However, if they have probable cause to believe that you are involved in a crime or one about to happen they can bring you into custody and then force you to display your license. http://www.wolverinelaw.com
