Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

if someone has approval for medical marijuana and is using it in their residence and there are others living in the residence who are not using the drug..what about the odor of the drug that will permeate the home just as cigarette smoke does....what does that mean for those who are not using the drug, but may smell of it?

You may be searched at a public venue if an officer thinks he has probable cause to believe you have been smoking and may be in possession.
