Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
If I went to my arraignment and the judge tells me I can only be around or smoke marijuana unless it's prescribed by a doctor, and I go get my medical marijuana card from a doctor; what will happen at pre-trial? Will it be okay? It's only my first offense and I didn't have the money until now to get my medical marijuana card and I have the money to pay my fine. I never got arrested, only a ticket but I had to go to court. Should I get a lawyer?

I get this question a lot "should I get a lawyer? " the collateral consequences that come with a potential conviction I.e. job, license, immigration, etc. Make having counsel a necessity. If you have specific questions feel free to contact me on my alternate phone number. I will answer your questions.
