Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
arrest records
I was arrested and finger printed 8 years ago. I was not charges and charges were dropped. I am concerned about whether if I get finger printed for work how that will affect me, and what can I do about it.

Re: arrest records
Make a written request to the arresting police department asking for a return of your fingerprints and removal from the record. Give the date of your arrest and any other detail.
If this doesn't work, you will be told by the police what further action you can take.
