Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I was arrested for domestic violence in Michigan. I was released the next day as it was decided "no warrant for the arrest." Charges were not pressed.
Other than this incident, I have a completely squeaky clean record. Will this arrest appear on any kind of background checks? If so, is there anything I can do to clean up my record? This could damage my reputation.

A check of the Michigan State Police records will show your arrest and will not show a conviction. Thousands of people of accused of crimes every day. Being accused is very different than being convicted.
