Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Need Help ASAP
A friend of mines got arrested for suspicion of larceny and he's already on parole for an armed robbery charge..His bail was set for $1000... The guy who is trying to press charges says he didn't see him take the belonging but has no doubt in his mind that it was him. There is no evidence against him other than that. My friends says he didnt do anything.. What do you think the out come of this will be? Also he was wondering if a lawyer could come up there and speak to him for a little bit just about legal stuff... Is there anyway possible to get a lawyer to do that for little or no money and not represent him in court? We simply don't have enough money...

He should know by now not to speak with anyone, especially police... If he can not afford an attorney, he ought to request for Court Appointed Attorney at the very least. Further, he may also face additional problems with his parole officer even though he has not yet been convicted of the present charges. Should you have any questions, you're welcome to contact me.
