Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
My aunt is being harassed and blackmailed by her ex-boyfriend. She has filed multiple orders for protection and each one is denied. This man has physically attacked her numerous time, even sending her to the hospital, he was recently arrested for stalking her and yet still no PPO will be approved. The police are no longer answering her calls for help and she feels as if she is out of options. What can she do?
