Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
barrowing money from relative
My mom is 90 and in a nursing home. I barrowed money from her and payed some of it back I payed some of her bills out of my pocket and I deposited some of my money in her account. I now being told that its embezzeling money and I could be arrested. I didn't know it was a crime and I even asked my the bank to make sure. I offered to pay the money back now I am told by her new guardian I can't because I am going to be arrested for embezzeling money?
