Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
getting beat up
if a person gets stomped by 3 or 4 guys in a public building and the police were called should there have been charges filed or at least have gone to court ?

I'm assuming you were not one of the stompers.
If you are the stompee, and no charges were filed, you might call the responsible police department and arrange to have your statement taken.
If you're neither, you don't have the standing to ask the question.
