Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Bench Warrant
I rececived a court notice to appear on 8-7-07, the court date was set for 10-9-07, I missed this court date due to the fact that I honestly forgot. The court date was for review of probabtion. I called my PO today and let her know that I missed my probation review for 10-9 she said for me to come to the court and appear in front of the magistrate and to let her know when I did. What is the most that they can do to me? Can I honestly receive jail time whhile with child and with two small childern at home? Im worried?
