Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
my boyfriend is currently in jail in one state serving time and has a warrant in another state.. when hes released he.ll be on probabtion will he be able to transfer his probabtion to the state with the warrant

That will be up to the court and probtion department of both states. The one would have to be willing to let him transfer and the other would have to be willing to accept him. There may be other options such as he could still report in person to the original state or report by phone. It lso depends on whether or not his probation gets revoked after the other matter is resolved.
