Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Breaking and entering or trespassing in Mich
I am looking for certain statues in Mich. My question is if someone broke a window out in a car in a parking lot and stole something what would be the possible charge be? If someone broke into a car that was parked in side of a garage is it now home invasion?

larceny from a vehicle and malicious destruction of property. If the car was in a garage, it would be the above, plus breaking ad entering with intent to commit larceny. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz
