Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
building larceny
my boyfriend was a a college catching the bus and was stopped by the police and questioned because he fit the discription of a person that had been reported for stealing something from a dorm room. He doesnt even go to that school. They searched him to make sure he didnt have anything stolen on him and he didnt. now 5 months later the police say he has a warrant from that day. can he be charged for larceny in a building and what is the most likely sentencing he could get?

Re: building larceny
He can be charged. If he did not do the crime, he should be found not guilty and there would be no sentence. Encourage him to immediately hire an experienced, tough lawyer.
