New Career #1

from because of my conviction? Can
I have my record expunged so I can
work in the medical field? I live in

Re: New Career #1
You can get your conviction for embezzlement expunged in Michigan
5 years from the date your probation ended if that was the only crime on your record.
Since embezzlement is theft from your employer (money or goods) its unlikely you would be hired by a major employer unless the embezzlement occurred before you turned 21 and you were processed under the Youthful Trainee Act and your case was later dismissed. Another factor would be whether the embezzlement was a felony or a misdemeanor.
