Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I got caught shoplifting at Target in Michigan. I am 14 years old & my records clean. What I took added up to $50. I cooperated with the target staff & the police officer who came. My mom was with me & I ended up leaving with her. They are sending me a court date through the mail. What should I expect? Will I go on probation? Will they drug test me? How much will I have to pay? Will it clear off my record when im 18?

You're a juvenile and the usual course is for probation and no record at 18.
