Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I was caught taking 155.00 of merchandise from Walmart. I am 58 yrs old ,single & my only income is social security disability.
I was charged with retail fraud in the 3rd degree. No previous criminal record
What should I do?

No jail time. Fine only. Show up in court on time. Stand in line to talk to the prosecutor. Do what you're told. If you don't like it, ask for a court appointed lawyer. Dress nicely - no jeans.
