Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Change a Police Report
Do to my mind being in disarray the night of the incident, I did not tell the whole truth. I actually omitted information. It has since been sent to the Prosecutors office. Can I make changes after the fact and how do I do that? I was actually considered the victim and want to make these changes, but this is the part that is not true, in my eyes. Omission is not telling the whole truth in this matter.

Re: Change a Police Report
You can certainly change your version of the story. You can also add a statement to your story. There are possible consequences of doing this and it would be best to consult with an experienced criminal defense attorney before you do anything.
