Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Change of residence
My boyfriend is currently in jail for a drug charge. We live in Michigan, but I am moving to Colorado soon. Once I leave he will not have a home here, and he would like to live in Colorado with me. I know that he can request a transfer through probation when he gets out, but can he transfer while he's in jail? Basically as soon as he gets out I want to be able to take him to Colorado, is this possible? If so, how can I go about doing it?
