Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Charge with misdemeanor
Do people who are charged with a misdeamenor crime have to get fingerprinted in the state of Michigan, when they did not have to go to jail, or do only felony offenders get fingerprints when convicted.

Fingerprints are required for any crime higher than 92-day misdemeanors. That is why many misdemeanors have "93 days jail" as a max ... so they have to be printed.
So, all felonies, all 1-yr misdemeanors, all 93-day misdemeanors have to be printed. 90-day misdemeanors don't.
