Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I am charged with felon in possession of firearm (18 u s c 922 (g)(1). My case is in federal court. Can I be charged if I jointly leased a home where the other person had the gun. This was not my primary residence nor was I aware of the gun. I am willing to take a polygraph to confirm my story. What can I do?

Your case sounds very defendable. Have you told your lawyer that you didn't know about the gun? Who is the judge handling the case?
