You will be arraigned on the charge and have a bond set and bond conditions. The judge will give you notice of your next court date. It is best to show up to turn yourself in with a lawyer for two reasons: 1) a lawyer can help arrange a walk-in arraignment so you can show up to court and be arraigned that day as opposed to turning yourself into the police, being booked in, and waiting a day or two before you are arraigned and 2) it increases your odds of getting a better bond or a personal recognizance bond. Then your next court date will be a pretrial conference. It's probably best for you and your attorney to be in contact with your PO on the other case to keep them updated as well.
