Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

i have been charged with resisting and opposing a officer and mdop. i would like to know what i can do. there is no audio, mike, or video. its the cops word against mine, and i didnt resist. i will even take a lie detector test. he also said he had to tell me 3 or 4 times to drop the knife both in court and police report. ive complied with everything and still getting screwed. they want me to take a plea of no jail but parole for 1.5 years to 2 years. if possible i will send copies if u need them. thanks. i go back to court on jan 4.

Your choices are to take the offer (it's probation, not parole) or take it to trial. The jury would have to believe you or the officer as to who is telling the truth. The risk is wholly yours. Having a skilled defense attorney can help also. Kliszlaw.com. Tim Klisz
