Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
''Confession Statement can it be used against me in court''
i'm curios if i'am 17 years old but being tried as an adult in the state of Michigan, can they use my confession statement agaisnt me? My employer told me if i confess to retail fraud in the third degree he would not prosecute me. so being scared and no knowing what to do, i confessed and wrote down that i did it 2 other times as well, but since i'm a minor, although im being tried as an adult can they use my confession statement against me in court?, and can it be valid if i didnt sign it

Basically they will still try to use your statement. Although, there are some arguments we can make to disallow your statement. I suggest you give me a call. You need representation!
