Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
conviction expungement
Fifteen years ago my husband was convicted of possesion of a controlled substance at age twenty one years of age. Sentence was probation. The record was ageed upon by the judge to be expunged. This year we found out it was never expunged. It has now become a problem. Is it possible to correct this and how quickly can it be done?

Yes it is possible to correct the problem now. If facts are as you state it could be done in a matter of days. I assume you are requesting the return of the arrest record, fingerprints and dismissal of the case. Good luck.
