Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
court appointed vs hired lawyer
I can't afford a ''good'' lawyer, so I have to get a court appointed one ,
what are my chances in a child molestation case I'm being charged with that she said happened 8 years ago?

Re: court appointed vs hired lawyer
I would STRONGLY recommend that you find some way to get a "good" lawyer. You're charged with a very serious crime that could land you in prison for many years. Perhaps you'll need help from family or friends. You should call on them for help immediately.
Our office gets many telephone calls from clients that have tried to rely on court appointed lawyers. We hear so many complaints about them. We also get letters from prisoners that relied on court appointed lawyers. Don't go through a molestation case without an experienced, aggressive defense team.
