Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

credit card fraud large amount

i was authorized by a family member to open and use crdit cards as long as i payed them, many listed me as an authorized user. other family members found out and turned it in to the police and the prosecutor for review. the family member who allowed this does not want to press charges, but says i wasn't suppose to open this large of a credit line, 25,000 approx 15 cards. but many are current as far as payment. the police and the prosecutor's office said they may want to pursue criminal charges due to the high amount charged. i have no criminal history, my record is clean. the discovering family members said they will not stop until i am charged and convicted. they are relentless. what can happen to me?

Ultimately you could be charged if the prosecutor feels that a crime was committed. However, to avoid this, maybe you should have the people that authorized you to use their credit cards call the police or whoever is calling you to ask you questions. Another option would be to hire an attorney. That way you can be sure that it will be taken care of appropriately. Call me for help 5862851700
