Re: Criminal
"Criminal procedure" is a topic that covers, in part, how a case progresses through the criminal justice system. Our office web site (www.prosecutingattorney.info) has an "Anatomy of a Prosecution" page, which talks about this process in Michigan cases.
Other aspects of "criminal procedure" include some constitutional issues called "due process" -- the right to be informed about the charge against you, the right to be present ad participate in heaeings, etc.
