VCSA = Violation of the Controlled Substances Act. This could be a misdemeanor felony depending on the type of drug, amount of drug, whether there was evidence sufficient to charge use, possession, delivery, possession with intent to deliver, etc. Also, whether you have a prior criminal record (and what the record is) will affect the charging decision by the prosecutor and what your sentence might be.

Violation, Controlled Substances Act which makes you eligible for jail! rehab! fines! probation! community service! driver's license suspension!

Punishment depends on your age,prior record, demeanor, judge, prosecutor, and circumstances surrounding your arrest (e.g. how much did you take?)
