Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

criminal intent

My 15 year old daughter while staying at a friends met a 35 year old man somehow he got our phone number started calling her telling her he was in love with her ect. ect. Because of the fact there was no sexual contact no most we were told all we could do was put a ppo if it did not stop. Today i find out he's been still talking to her so tommorow i'm going to get the ppo. I made another report to the police because while on the phone with him he told me he was going to shoot me rape my wife and take my daughter....now on top of all this later after talking to the police my son tells me that he has actually tried to pick her up when they were walking to school trying to get her in his van. now you kind of get the picture my question is?????

Isn,t it against the law to try to get a minor to get in a vehicle???? Or something to that effect

Re: criminal intent

It is possible that he could be accused of attempted kidnapping. I would hope that you have contacted the police by now. If you have not do so immediately.
