Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Criminal Law Question
If one has had a federal felony arrest, but has never been convicted of a felony, is there a way in which to get that arrest hidden from potential employers? In the alternative is it possible to demonstrate to potential employers that there was no felony arrest so as to ensure better chances at employment?

Re: Criminal Law Question
Employers other than the government are not supposed to have access to arrest records.
You can visit the arresting police agency and request the form (or any information) for deleting your prints and arrest record from the file.
If that doesn't work, a lawyer can do it. Any contact with the federal government is time consuming.
