Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Daughter

My Daughter's huband is in jail awaiting trail does she have the right to sell his car? The car is in his name but she claims since she bought it she can sell it. Her Husband may get out of jail with time served I am afraid that he can take legal action against her. Am I right to fear this?

NO! She has no right to sell his car - not unless she want's to take his place in jail.

If the title is in her husband's name, she will not be able to transfer title. If she forges his name, she will be stealing and as he is leaving the jail, she can wave to him as she is entering.
