Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
my daughter comes home crying another child attacked her at our local park. I went to the park an asked the child where her parents were. She said at home. So I took her by her coat sleave and started walking her home. Now I have recieved a court notice for assult an battery. Am I guilty of this? how should I proceed?

You are in trouble for the A & B on the girl. The girl may get in trouble for the assault on your daughter and I can tell you to go to the police to report that.
