Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
death threat
What constitutes a death threat? An estranged family member left threatening messages on my answering machine--didn't actually say ''I'm going to kill you'' but implied that I should watch out.

Re: death threat
1. Call the police and file a police report.
2. Ask your local Circuit Court judge to issue a PPO against the estranged family member if that will make you feel more secure. (On the other hand, it might provoke the situation. You decide.)
