Death Threat Against Me

A death threat was posted against me on Myspace. It read as such: ''Blooddropss...is going to start killing people and will start with Kim... and I even know the next ten people after that.'' Blooddropps being the person's screen name. I was just wondering what my legal rights are in this matter.

Contact customer service at myspace and demand they remove the posting and reveal the person's name who opened the account. While I'm sure they will immediately take it down, they might not reveal the person's information.

Print a copy of the screen first, for your records.

If you know who posted it, take a copy of it with you to the police department where you reside and file a police report.

It may just be an innocent prank, but you never know, and most authorities take these things very seriously.

Call the police RIGHT AWAY.

Get a personal protection order against the nut that posted the threats.
